Ramla Signs Tanisha Wright
The first American signee for Ramla is Tanisha Wright, a star with the Seattle Storm who was the MVP of the Israeli league in the 07/08 season.

Women's Offseason Update

Sheri Sam inbounded the ball straight to Ambrosia Anderson who hit the layup with five seconds left to lift Ramat Hasharon to 64-63 win and their 2nd in a row and 6th overall Championship title. Photo gallery

Ramat Hasharon's A Win Away
The final score was 90-83 but it is decieving. Ramat Hasharon led in double digits for most of the game including by 22 during the 3rd quarter. Ashdod with a 33-point 4th quarter salvaged some dignity but it was too late. Photo Gallery - Click here

Thomas' Three Ties up Finals
"Game winner? Not since high school and then it wasn't a three", said Christi Thomas who hit a huge three with 2.8 seconds on the clock to lift Ashdod to an 83 – 82 win in game 2. Despite Lacy's triple double Ashdod wasn’t brilliant and trailed for most of the game by as much as 11. But they forced an exciting finish and gave their amazing crowd an enormous victory.

The League Voted: Walker MVP
In an event held in Tel Aviv, the results of the end of season survey conducted by the basketball union were announced. MVP of the league, the 1st Team, newcomer of the year and coach of the year - the results are inside.

Champs Dominate Game 1
Electra Ramat Hasharon started the game with excellent inside defense that frustrated Ashdod, and ended it with a great 2nd half en route to a 78 – 60 win. Ashdod has much work if they plan on getting their first ever finals win next week in game 2. Photo gallery
