Ashdod Signs Vaughn

Three days before the league resumes Ashdod signed Krystal Vaughn, rookie from the Washington Mystics.
Krystal Vaughn (6'2, 22), graduate of Virginia Commonwealth and the 34th overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft is Ashdod's new foreigner, replacing Jennifer Humphrey. In her final two seasons in college, Vaughn averaged 15.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She is the first player out of Virginia Commonwealth to be drafted into the WNBA. Last summer Vaughn played in 15 games for Washington, and registered 0.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game.
Ashdod is expected to host Bnei Yehuda on Thursday in round 11.
