"Our mistakes brought them back in the game, lack of concentration", said Bnei Yehuda's assistant coach, Odelya Madmon after her team's important win. "It's good that we knew how to come back and win after they got that six point lead. We never felt like we're going to lose, we knew and felt that we'd win. We came in very well prepared, our goal was to finish in the top 6 and its still is."

A strange quarter with more offensive rebounds then defensives and many turnovers started with a 7-3 Tel Kabir run as Bnei Yehuda couldn't get anything going since the fast break after the jump ball, and on the other side Shaun Gortman was starting to heat up. Rivi Grinboym from the line cut it to 7-9 and the visitors took the lead on La'Tangela Atkinson's 3-pt play, but Tel Kabir got some transition baskets and suddenly found Michelle Woods to keep it close, 19-18 Tel Kabir after 1.

The pace picked up in the 2nd quarter, Bnei Yehuda went to a pressing man to man and Tel Kabir got stuck since Woods couldn't finish. Ayelet Cohen with a 3 as the shot clock expired gave Bnei Yehuda a 26-25 lead. The lead grew to 32-25 as the three foreigners scored. Michal Miron's basket stopped the drought for Tel Kabir and the refs waived off Ayelet Cohen's 3-point play saying she traveled, and Bnei Yehuda's momentum stopped. Gortman with four points, a steal and a save that turned into an assist to Woods cut it to 33-36. Atkinson with another drive sealed the half, 38-33, she had 18 points already.

Renee Taylor, who had a quiet first half, woke up in the 3rd with five free throws to give her team a 41-40 lead less than two minutes into the quarter. Gortman with a nice move and Woods on the break made it 45-43 but Bnei Yehuda wouldn't let it last. Grinboym with 5 straight sparked a 12-0 visitors run as LaToya Bond & Kamesha Hairston scored on the break, 55-45 with 3:30 to go. Gortman created four free throws off of offensive boards, Taylor who cooled off after Chen Segal glued herself to her found Woods inside and the lead was down to 50-58. Tel Kabir kept inching closer after a technical on Grinboym led to five more free throws for Taylor, and Shiri Portat in the final seconds cut it to 57-59 after 3.

Tel Kabir's run continued with Gortman & Taylor who made it 71-64, five minutes left to play. Bnei Yehuda panicked a bit and players tried to save the day alone which didn't work, but Grinboym with a drive and Cohen with a fast break and a basket at the end of the 24 clock cut the lead to 1, with 3:30 to play. The cat and mouse game continued, Atkinson on the offensive glass cut it to 75-76 with 25 seconds left. Bnei Yehuda had 2 fouls to give, they played aggressive defense and were able to avoid sending Tel Kabir to the line. Gortman beat the defense down the court but her layup rolled off the rim, and on the other side Atkinson found Hairston under the basket to make it 77-76 with 4.7 left. Taylor's last second attempt was no good.
